Qualification

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering (BSECE) or equivalent.

  • Preference will be given to candidates who are Registered Electronics Engineer / Electronics Technician (with unexpired PRC ID).

  • Preferably with working experience : at least one (1) year of experience in the related field of Diagnostic Imaging.

  • Must have an outgoing and persuasive personality with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain strong customer relationships.

  • Ethical, trustworthy, and team player.

  • Excellent analytical, and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand manner.

  • With the ability to work independently, strong time management skills, resourceful.

  • Able to work productively in a pressurized and fast-paced environment.

Job Description

  • A Service Engineer’s work entails repairing, installing or designing equipment, tools, products, and to service the technological requirements of our clients in the field of industry and health care.

  • Technologies in the field of radar, ultrasonics, infrared, radioisotopes, and x-rays are just some of the modalities that are being utilized.

  • Service Engineer carry out installations and repairs on sites that are at the client’s business place e.g hospitals, diagnostics centers, clinics, etc. Do not have one standard location, but are instead called upon when a customer needs their services and expertise.

  • Service Engineer train such end-users e.g. Radiologic Technologist, Technician, etc. on how to use these equipment and on proper maintenance. For this reason, strong communication and people skills are essential in the field, especially the ability to communicate technical information to people who are not familiar with engineering terms.


Duties And Responsibilities

  • Install and facilitate medical equipment supplied by ACT in different medical institution and adjust it to meet the needs of the facility. Test all parts to ensure that they function according to quality standards and pose no danger to the end users and other employees.

  • Conducts training of hospital personnel on the operation of the equipment, software operations and the process flow of the system.

  • Carry out preventive maintenance of the machines at regular intervals. Preventive maintenance includes cleaning of the machine and its parts, calibration of the equipment, replacement of defective parts of the machine, diagnose faults, rectify any fault found, and checking the overall status of the machine and its parts.

  • Attend to corrective calls from the client and provide service report/ instructions on how to encounter same problem. Attends service request via phone call to minimize the downtime of the machine. Submission of appropriate Service Report.

  • Preparation of required components for demo or installation

  • Ensures that the client meets the expected customer satisfaction.

  • Consult / discuss with the General Manager and fellow Service Engineers in connection with new/frequent problem arising when examining or repairing medical equipment system.

  • Conduct machine inspection prior to installation of machine.

  • Ensure QMS processes are established, implemented and maintained.

  • Perform other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
