Responsibilities:
Sell our Air & Ocean products/ logistic solutions by implementing national sales plans
Meet and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities in new and existing accounts
Present and demonstrate logistic solutions to potential customers, showing clear business & solution fit; Actively drive commercial negotiations and close deals
Select, develop, coach and manage a high performing team of sales professionals to meet and exceed targets of profitable revenue and gross margin growth.
Set clear targets for each of your sales employees to support the targets of the country sales budget as well as to achieve personal targets.
Ensure all sales activity (Meetings, Contact Reports, Opportunities and Leads) are reported within the CRM System “SUGAR CRM” (according to SUGAR SOP)
Measure and evaluate performance of the Outdoor Sales team against the defined individual and country targets; take necessary steps to improve and manage performance
Measure and evaluate the given KPI for each sales employee; take necessary steps to improve and manage performance
Preparation, Management, Development of local sales campaigns, as well as support of centrally organized and kicked- off sales campaigns
Identify and replace low performers, to identify, reward, and retain high performers
Implement the Air & Ocean sales process to establish a culture of consultative selling to decision-makers at all levels
Build strong networks and engagement with customers and business partners; manage customer expectations and drive high customer satisfaction.
Collaboration with all resources including our Product teams, Tender Management, other sales channels
Taking part in all sales trainings provided and scheduled by A&O
Maintain measures to monitor market / competitor performance and activity;
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, ideally in Logistics Management or Business Administration or related field
A minimum of 8 years sales in freight forwarding (especially Air & Ocean);
Excellent Knowledge of the logistics industry and global transportation
Consistent overachievement of sales goals in a large geographic territory and in the Freight Forwarding
industry
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation ability
Deep understanding of how sales works in multinational and multicultural global business environments
Client Focused - able to anticipate and identify customers’ needs and expectations and what constitutes
positive customer satisfaction
Experience in using a CRM to manage sales tasks, forecasting and pipeline
Dynamic leader with exceptional communication skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a disparate
team of sales professionals; High energy, creativity, leadership and motivational skills
Willingness to travel (internationally) as well as fluency in written and spoken English
Ability to work in a diversified/ global Team; strong work-ethic and integrity
Strong negotiation skills
Able to effectively communicate and support the Global Sales strategy
Active promotion of young sales talents (“RHEady to sell”)
