Required Skills:
- Experience with PostgreSQL (Aurora PostgreSQL preferred)
- Well-versed in developing views/stored procedures on PostgreSQL
- Expertise with PL/pgSQL
- Extensive experience with PostgreSQL deployment and version control
- Solid experience designing, implementing and maintaining production scripts
- Experience with NoSQL databases, with a preference for those databases that are AWS native
- Experience with ETL/ELT
- Experience with Snowflake
- Experience with PowerBI and Report Development
- Ability to develop relational and dimensional data models for OLTP databases
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, conducive to team development
- Well-versed in business analysis to prepare logical and physical models
- Good data analysis and data quality assessment skills
- Expertise in database design and development
- Ability to develop and write system documentation
Position requirements:
- 5 to 7+ Years of experience in Database Development
- Proficient in SQL and PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of best engineering practices in agile software development: architectural paradigms, code reviews, branching, task management, documentation, and testing
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with PostgreSQL/Aurora with deployment and version control
- Experience with Azure and/or AWS
- Experience with Snowflake and Power Bi ETL/ELT
- Experience with PostgreSQL (Aurora PostgreSQL preferred)
