Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend the review process of method statements and relevant ITPs.
- Assist the team with the regular site inspection, highlighting any quality issues.
- Assist the Senior Project Supervisor for any quality-related activity that holds points for inspections and other tests needed as required by contract.
- Monitor ongoing construction activities, advise the operation team of any discrepancies on site, and raise the NCR if needed.
- Prepare all necessary documents and attachments for the inspection and testing requirements.
- Ensure that the project is maintaining accurate and calibrated inspection tools and equipment for consistent measurements of the operation of the inspection and testing system.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year quality assurance (QA)/quality control (QC) management experience is required, but not necessary. Preferably with background in construction projects
- Certified and/or registered quality assurance auditor/assessor or other equivalent registrations is an advantage.
- Experience writing and implementing QA Management Systems for engineering programs.
- Able to manage staff for QA implementation and assure full compliance with extensive QA/QC processes.
- Develop and maintain the Quality Management System, Quality Management Plan in line with legislation, certification, contract requirements.
