Job Qualifications:
EDUCATION: Graduate of any IT related course
SKILLS
- Must have at least 7 years of software programming experience
- Exposure/experience with handling jr. or outsourced developers is an advantage
- Adept in basic MS office applications
- Intermediate proficiency level in both English and Tagalog oral and written communication
- Experience using databases such as sqlserver, mysql, postgresql, and redshift
- Must know the following coding languages: PHP (Code Igniter)
- With experience in using AGILE methodologies and cloud environments
- Develops programs for IOS, Android, and Windows platforms
Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Writes programming code and update existing codes for in-house software developments and programs
- Creates the corresponding technical documents for new and existing software programs
- Meets and collaborates with project managers/stakeholders to discuss software projects
- Manages the junior and/or outsourced developers by assigning tasks such as coding, testing, and analytics
- Reviews code work for accuracy and functionality
- Regularly analyzes code segments
- Provides QA testing for existing and ongoing system development by junior and/or outsourced developers
- Manages project timelines and tasks
- Communicates project updates and issues to management
- Develops and trains junior staff on development technologies
- Keep up to date on the newest technological innovations in the field and be ready to apply relevant innovations to our software systems
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
- Reports to: IT Manager/Head
- Handles: Jr. Developers and Outsourced developers
- Closely coordinates with: Project Managers/Stakeholders, Business Systems Analysts
