Description:
The team is looking for a talented Data Warehouse Engineer who will be incharge of designing and building data warehouses—large databases that store information from multiple sources.
Minimum qualifications:
- Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures and data sets
- Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets
- Experience with relational SQL databases (e.g. Postgres, Cassandra)
- Experience with cloud services (e.g. EC2)
- Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
- Solid understanding of build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management
- A successful history of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large disconnected datasets
Preferred qualifications:
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field; Master’s is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders and team
